  • 2 Large mixing bowls
  • 1 Glass Baking Pan 9 inch by 13 inch (other sizes can be used)

Ingredients

  • 4 cups Organic White Flour
  • 2 cups Filtered Water 105 degrees F to 115 degrees F
  • 1 packet Instant Dried Yeast
  • 6 tbsp Olive Oil
  • 2 tsp Salt
  • 1 tbsp Organic Honey

Instructions

  • Combine warm water, yeast, honey and water in a large mixing bowl. Stir and allow to rest for 10 minutes for the yeast to begin to activate
  • Add the flour, 2 tbsp olive oil and 1 tsp salt to the yeast mixture and stir until combined
  • Knead the mixture by hand or in an electric mixer with paddle or dough hook attachment until the dough forms into a smooth ball
  • Oil a large clean bowl with 1 tbsp of olive oil. Place the dough in the large bowl and cover with a damp towel and leave in a warm area. Allow the dough to proof for 2-3 hours, the dough should triple in size
  • Pre-heat oven to 425 degrees F
  • Use a 9 inch x 13 inch glass baking pan, use 1 tbsp of oil to coat the interior of the pan to ensure the dough does not stick
  • Place the risen dough in the baking pan. Spread the dough to fully cover the pan. Use your fingers or the back of a spoon to dimple the dough
  • Add your toppings and seasonings of choice to the top of the dough, drizzle olive oil and remaining salt.
  • The second proof, allow the formed dough to rest for 20-30 minutes
  • Place baking pan into the over and cook for about 25 minutes. The top of the bread should be golden brown.
